Please have your order number and the name of the original purchaser ready when contacting us to help us quickly locate your order. If there is an issue with the cover fit, it is very helpful to give our customer support agents the cover SKU number. The SKU number is located on the white tag on the storage bag near the draw string and on the inner seam of the cover next to the "Front" tag. Please provide as many details as possible

What if I get a rip or tear in my cover?

We have self adhesive 1' x 1' fabric patches available if you experience a rip or tear. You can view the Platinum Shield patch here or the Ultimate/Deluxe/Basic Shield patches here. 

If you are experiencing an issue with your cover such as deterioration of the fabric, you can open a warranty claim by utilizing our contact form here: https://www.carcovers.com/contact/contactus.html The warranty department requires that you either return the cover back to us for inspection or provide pictures of the cover damage. FAQs:

Q: My cover does not have mirror pockets. Why?

A: We have found that mirror pockets tend to be the first part of the cover to tear or rip. Our covers are designed to accomodate your mirrors without pockets. This ensures that you get the maximum durability for your car covers.

 

Q: I have an issue with the fit of the cover.

A: Our covers are sized for your vehicle by the dimensions: length, width, and height (called semi-custom). They have elastic hems that will stretch over the front and rear bumpers. While they are designed to fit fairly snug, they will not mold perfectly to the body like a 100% custom fitted cover would. If you are interested in a 100% custom fitted cover, please let us know and we can provide a quote for you. Prices for 100% custom fitted covers start at around $250.00 and go up depending on the desired material.

 

Q: I am having trouble with the wind blowing the cover. How can I secure it?

A: No cover, fully custom or semi-custom, will stay on the vehicle during high winds. If you're using your cover outside, we strongly recommend our Gust Strap Wind Protector. You can purchase it by clicking the following link:

Q: The Cable and Lock Set is not in my package.

A: The Cable and Lock Set is included with each Ultimate Shield and Platinum Shield purchase. It is usually tucked in with the cover storage bag, so if you believe you are missing any items please first make sure to take the cover completely out of the storage bag.
