Wrangler Unlimited Polar

10 Most Expensive Jeeps in the World

Ask anyone that has driven a jeep -- they're fun to drive, especially when you're going off-road. Jeeps are customizable, so you can take on anything the road, or mother nature, can throw at you. It doesn't matter what it is: rocks, boulders, bushes or streams. The right type of Jeep can handle any kind of environment. Jeeps are also great summer vehicles, especially if you have a soft top. Simply fold the roof back and enjoy the sun and wind as you drive along on the road. Ultimately, if you maintain and protect your Jeep with a quality cover, it’ll tackle any adventure you put in front of them.

Keep in mind that not every Jeep model is priced like the highly affordable Jeep CJ5 (usually priced around $3,000 depending on where you look). Some Jeeps are so expensive that the long row of zeros will make you do a double take! Here are 10 of the most expensive Jeeps in the world.

4) Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X

Price: $37,000

The last thing you need with the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X is asphalt. This Jeep was built for off-roading. It doesn't matter what's in your way -- boulders, streams, and even hills, all obstacles are mere playthings to the Rubicon X. This is likely the most off road oriented Jeep out there.

With its 4:1 transfer case, locking differentials, and sway bar disconnect you'll be hard-pressed to find another off-road vehicle capable of matching the abilities of the Rubicon X. The Rubicon X was also built to be fully modded. You can add a winch, slap on bigger tires and much more. Though it's not as expensive as some of the other choices on this list, it certainly performs as well as the best of them.

9) Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT (WK2), 2013

Price: $130,000

This fourth-generation mid-size luxury crossover SUV isn't your typical Jeep. Unveiled at the 2009 New York Auto Show the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT was made for style. 10) Jeep Hurricane Concept

Price: $2 million

With a price tag of $2 million you better believe that the Jeep Hurricane has unrivaled power beneath the hood. First unveiled at the 2005 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, nearly all spectators had to do a double take due to the unique design of the body.

The Jeep Hurricane has a one-piece body composed of lightweight carbon fiber. It can only sit two people, and it doesn't have a side door or roof. With its 8-cylinder HEMI engine and a top speed of 250 km/h, there isn't anything out there that can compete with this beast. Due to the complex nature and cost of the drivetrain, there are no plans to make the Jeep Hurricane a production vehicle. Well, at least we can dream about driving this bad boy.
